Rocks and stones is a tribute to our friend Charly Devarennes, a remarkable man who shared his humane, thoughtful philosophy with us during summer evenings on the beach after the tourists had gone home and the sun lit up the Albères – the last hills before the Pyrenees give way to the Mediterranean.
